Kenya vs Pakistan

Kenya vs Pakistan - Mr. Kamran Akmal and Mr. Younus Khan have used their experience and skill to steer Pakistan out of troubled waters in their first World Cup match against Kenya. Both Akmal and Younush have hit half centuries and steadied the Pakistani inning after some earlier hiccups.

They are electing to bat first, Pakistan were reeling at 12/2 after losing their openers Mohammad Hafeez (9) and Ahmad Shahzad (1) early in the match. They were caught out on the deliveries of Elijah Otieno and Thomas Odoyo respectively.

But, Pakistan have recovered from the earlier blows thanks to half centuries by Akmal (55) and Younus (50). The current score reads 170/4 in 34.5 overs with Misbah-ul-Haq (31) and Umar Akmal (4) on the crease.

And Mr. Younus has just got out leg before wicket off the bowling of veteran Steve Tikolo. Younus challenged that decision but the third empire upheld it and he had to walk back to the pavilion.

Pakistan still has got 6 wickets in hand 15 overs still to go. Dangerous Shahid Afridi and crafty Abdur Razzaq are still to come. After a shaky start, Pakistan has done well to put itself into a comfortable position. They look set for a 250-plus score and are likely to emerge out the winners in this match.
